I made my own mod and I tried loading CC to test the mod but after a while of loading,CC crashes with this message...

Cortex Command-Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005) occured in the application at location 0x74fa210c.

Does anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?

That's a pretty vague error. What did you make in your mod, and when did it start doing this (IE, your mod was working before you did X)?

Well...I am making a machine gun and I took the ini file from the Coalition machineguns..I had tried other files from other guns and I had a problem with the magazine.bmp so I tried this ini...I edited the file to how I wanted it to work....(Basically setting the pathways of the bmp's to use my custom made bmp's and also adding a custom made sound effect for the gun fire). And this Coalition edit never has worked. Does this help?

Is your mod in a separate .rte, or is it your whole base.rte?
If the former, that's a damn big coalition edit. If the latter, you have to host it elsewhere, or do it over in it's own .rte. You'll never be able to release a mod here if it's in a basegame edit.

My mod is in a seperate .rte file.

Well, if it says it's too big, you'll have to upload it elsewhere. Try mediafire.com, drop.io, willhostforfood.com, or if you know of one.

No no...I didn't say that it was to big...Its just that when I click on the .zip file it just opens the file...am I supposed to do something else?
