Up the sharpness. Easiest way, though it might start eating through more terrain than you bargained for.

Also try upping the particle count if you want multiple wounds inflicted at once.

Actually, a high mass particle with low sharpness and decent fire speed (anything over 60) willl always cause more damage.
Gets the job done with very little terrain raep.

Easiest way to go is just double/triple particle count (Make sure to set ParticleSpreadRange to 0 so all particles stay together and look like one bullet)

thanks, ill try increasing the mass of the round and decreasing the sharpness a little.

Remember, the Sharpness is proportional to the Mass.
If you double the Mass, and keep Sharpness the same, you will have double the piercing effect, and double the terrain raep; the same is true for the inverse.
If you double one and halve the other, piercing stays the same.

why does everyone use mass for damage? yeah you get more impulse but if you balance your sharpness and mass properly you can get a proper weight bullet that does proper damage. for you to be able to kill someone in fewer headshots, add more particles.

I use particles for bigger bullets.

I really REALLY disagree with the game's gibbing though, it's way too easy to make a guy's head explode.
To make someone die without gibbing you actually have to wait for them to bleed out, or place the bullets precisely in each limb.
Gibbing should be a gimmick, not a standard; at least in non-explosive deaths / being crushed.

If you about 2.5x everything's GibImpulseLimit, you retain gibbing in epic situations while dying by health most of the time. I tried this with a robot copy once, it was actually quite fun to play.

Exactly, it would make deaths more interesting, not just "lawl your head exploded!"

Because you get more damage without the terrain rape, you also get recoil. Besides it looks tons better when the target actually tumbles slightly when you hit him compared to just getting a wound normally

actually, you get the same damage with the same terrain rape if you balance it right. you can also use lua to imply more force on the target if need be.
i totally agree with the higher gibwoundlimits on everything though. except the dreadnought and craft.
maybe not 2.5x though. if you think about it, you can make a mess of someone's legs with half a mag of assault rifle bullets not problem.

I agree there, but gibbing someone's head in SIX BULLETS is just absurd :S

Lemme go shoot you in the head six times then we'll see how much of a head you've got left

With large-bore weapons it's understandable.
But not a puny handgun, that would just leave holes.
