I'm trying to make a mod with zero coding experience whatsoever. Aaand... It doesn't work. It's (so far) just a gun. I went over the code at least 37 times, but whenever I load CC it says " The instruction at 0x00563a95 referenced memory at 0x000000000. The memory could not be read. " No idea what's going on. So, if anyone could tell me what's the problem...

The only error I found was a tabbing problem in the HDFirearm section. The Description line isn't tabbed, but preceded by five spaces. It needs to be tabbed. I haven't tested the weapon though, so that may or may not be what's causing your error. |

Spacing looks the same as tabbing, but it doesn't work the same. You have to use tabs, not spaces, for the organization, because that's the what the .ini interpreter reads. You might be able to use three spaces instead of every tab, I think someone said that somewhere at some time, but I don't know. It's definitely simpler to use tabbing. |

No, I don't think so. I just tested it and it does work. But as I said, tabbing is simpler by far. Edit-- wait, no, my testing was flawed. |
