I don't know if this is stupid but here I go.

I made a homing rocket using the old, pre-lua method (Explosive actor, gun with reversed recoil), and sometimes it works perfectly, but sometimes on certain maps it lags insanely even it the thing exists.

I am using the rockets to drop out of craft, and the selection of which maps it lags on seems completely random, any help to reduce the lag would be appreciated.

Maybe upload it for us to look at?
I've never had any problems of insane lag with my GML, or other similar missiles.

Except that one time when I made it's exhaust take a minute to disappear, made a cool contrail effect.

It happens to me with Whitty's homing missile launcher!
