My current main project that's almost finished. I just need to do some more testing.

It's a Dummy actor that comes with a rocket strapped to it's waist. Lots of fun and easy to control. I'll post more pictures and gifs when this hits the Mod Releases section. Oh, and the rocket it's actually composed of 2 separate pieces. In the second pic, the dummy torso is just there for reference.

So, it's Dummy meets Dr. Strangelove.

Yep. I figured an explosive kamikaze crash dummy seemed appropriate for CC.

Control (I think) created a green clone with a rocket MK1 strapped to its back.

Nostalgia moments.
So, is this going to have some sort of kamikaze function?

If by function you mean "create rapid and reckless acceleration" updated with "strapped tightly to explosive", yes.

This is an accumulation of about 5 hours of work. Most of it spent on getting a thruster you can turn on and off by holding and releasing the crouch key. Trust me, it's harder to do than it sounds when you can't attach emitters to attachables normally though .ini modding. I went though 3 different methods until I found one that was both stable and worked. I'll put this in the release section tomorrow when I wake up.

*Edit*
The camera likes to fly way ahead of dummy when you travel at high speeds. Any hacky way to fix this?

I don't believe so. That's a problem with the camera following anything moving along the x axis at high velocities. Try it with a rocket on an x wrap map and you'll see the camera really warp ahead of it.

When the camera moves like that, your object is experiencing powerful forces that push the object in a direction and CC's view camera is ment to view this dynamically to show the power of the forces involved.

Not sure if you can do anything, maybe there are functions that will keep the view in center at all times?

That's pretty cool.
I would have just made it a Jetpack replacement, but each to his own I suppose :D

Maybe you could give it a special trigger, like push 'crouch key' twice quickly.
And that would just turn the rocket on and not let it turn off again.
