ive been making a new faction. i have one actor done sprite-weise, what do you think?

yep, that sprtining tutorial that i was linked too in the tactical assasins thread was most helpfull, i learend another step twords decency. yep, weapons under developmen. i have these ideas;

these are the factions that dident cut it, and, sence tradestar has a embargo on them, the only way to get there weapons is to make "factorys" which slowly pump out a large number of there type of object. and we could have a heavy soldier with big armour & jumpjets, and a light soldier with smaller armour and a jetpack and aemitters on his feet that, due to lua-ey goodness turn on when you fly. and HUGE tank on legs that i had the idea for earlyer, i drew concept art here; http://lafe.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=40672260
and we could have weapons as follows;
tech class;
electrotool (shoots lighting)
electro slug launcher (shoots shell that splodes into lighting, maiming and paralizing anything close)
railgun; powerfull rifle, big, slowshooting, but increadbly fast and peircing rounds
rail pistol; compact version. a simaler shape to what i had in the godforsackenmodimadejustnow would be nice imo, but your the spriter

laser class;
stun ray; flashes light, stunning enemys (entertaining on dropships )
red colored laser; low powered but constant beam, never reloads but takes like 8 seconds to kill someone
violet laser; high powered laser, but dosent keep fireing for long, takes a long time to charge
violet photon cannon; fires a round of violet laser in a burst

plasma class;
plasma rifle; semi auto but powerfull plasma gun
plasma sniper; slower shooting but scoped and accurite
plasma anhalator; KILL THEM WITH FIRE! EXEPT WITH PLASMA!

demolitionest;
zooka
assorted nades
sploadin charge
mines
mortar
magnesium bullets

marksmen;
sniper rifle
super heavy bullet firing rifle

warfighter;
gun sheild hybrid (like the one in my other mod)
assult gun
stuff.
mo stuff

ghost;
sniper
cloaking feild
thing.

Swordsmaster;
bublesheild that makes him invincable to far ranged crap
swords
mo swords.
sheild.

The sprites are better, though their still not good. Much better than the assassins you released yesterday. If the offsets and code is as bad as those assassins then I'm gonna mail you a pipe bomb.

the actors 100% based of the soldier heavy, but the guns flow from the same parent template as the assasins guns, exept im fixing the offsets.

Then don't release it. Those guns were the worst part of that mod you released, make new weapons that aren't generic and start thinking of original weapons ideas.

Thats what im doing, the only genaric guns on my list are the sniper, and the railgun.

Remember that when spriting, the less pixels of the exact same colour next to each other the better.

Not exactly foolproof advice. Should I upload my "sprite" of the palette? Going on that definition, it's perfect!
