Post subject:  Animated Gifs
This question is a 2 parter:

I really don't know if this one fits in with mod "making", but it is mod related. While looking at postings of mod releases, I noticed some people post animated .gif files to show what their mod does. How do you make those? Seems more convenient than a youtube video.

Second, can you use animated .gif files in place of .bmp files for sprites?

Nope.

And make that as many frames as you want to animate.

And put the sprites in order, and name them all the same thing, but add these numbers to the end.

continue for more frames.

I've told you already FZ, use the report function. That goes for all of you - bottom right corner button lablled REPORT. It gets our attention, and when I'm copiously drunk I can and will moderate this forum.
