It would make things so much simpler to just let MOSRotatings glow. Maybe in a future build.

Anyone know how to get a MOSRotating to glow? ScreenEffect alone doesn't do it. |

I believe that's because the glow is obscured by the MOSRot. Try making the MOSRotating into an emitter and emitting glowing particles, or attach an emitter that does so, or an emitter that emits dummy particles with a blank MuzzleFlash with a glow. |
