havoc's Firstmod.rte - He/She wants help...
As mentioned here ( viewtopic.php?f=61&t=14890&start=15), Here's what could be done: -The weapon's .ini seems to have insufficient data. Try using Azuuki's modding templates, they helped me alot, and they might help you as well: ( viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10247) Use them as a base, and try playing around with the different values until you have it working the way you want it. If you are going to use them as a base though, you should also change the preset names and things: Quote: *CHANGE THE PRESETNAMES* *ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED OF MODS THAT ARE TO BE RELEASED* Anyone else have any suggestions for him/her?

it doesnt matter. the templates still work for build 23.
your 1st problem is your text files are just that. text files. make sure theyre .ini files. (they have a gear on them when they are).

isnt it just "randomnamehere.ini" the point being saving the FILENAME as something with ".ini" on the end

.ini is a configuration file

so theyre just saved wrong.

Ah, you're on one of those computers. Alright, how you get around that is pretty simple (least, this is how it works for me). First, manually save your file as some strange extension, such as .dgf. Then, delete the old .txt one. Finally, open the .dgf again in whatever text editor you use, select "all files" down at the bottom, and manually type in .ini.
