I was just thinking about how none of the close combat weapons in CC really appealed to me that much - but that's what mods are for! At that point I began thinking of some ideas for cool melee weapons. The results: -Car battery/jumper cable combo. This is my favorite by far. -Welding/cutting torch. -Magnifying glass. Its attack being focusing light and burning, of course. -Aerosol/lighter combo. Granted, it's not melee, but it would be short range. -Power tools. The chainsaw being done too many times, I considered the others. Electric drills, circular saws, weed-whackers... -Pickaxe. It would, of course, double as an effective mining tool. -Gutted paper shredder. I don't know where this came from, it just hit me while typing. If any modders like any of these ideas, I'd love to see these in game! I would offer to sprite, but I really don't know the first thing about it, other than how to draw... |

There's a pickaxe in the Orkz mod. And the electric drill and "gutted paper shredder" sound insane enough to be stupefyingly fun. Maybe I'll try to make those. |

I giant needle that sprays acid (not quite melee but most effective that way) Check! old surgical hack-saw (check) shovel (broke) Fire axe Chainsaw (that ISN'T rocket propelled) Scythe (it might be cool...) Battering ram (Designed to take out doors in one hit, but could total actors just as well) Sledge-hammer Headbutt Crowbar (for gordon to hit crabs with) Battle-axe broken bottle and... i dunno a cheese-grater. |

My mod here has a lance. I was thinking of making some melee weps for Nivos Corp. too. |
