Hi! I'm new here so don't be very angry. I searched inside this forum and cortex wiki but i found no clues. I want to run several mods with their activities at the same time. For example i want to play Grasslands with AAL and Oil Faction at the same time. Or against AAL and standard dummie, ronin and coalition factions. I tried to add activities with this tutorial: http://www.datarealms.com/wiki/index.php/Activities.ini I downloaded Diemos faction mod and put it inside cortex dir. Then i opened Diemos's Index.ini and put "//" near all includes. After that i copied all diemos includes inside Base.rte/index.ini before activities.ini inclusion and deleted "//". Then i opened base.rte/activities.ini and added lines from Diemos.rte/activities.ini. So when i start the game it crashes with error on line 900 inside Diemos.rte\Soldier.ini and tells me that "Soldier Misc Gib C" is not defined. Same thing goes for any other mod i try to add this way. But when i add mods by deleteing "//" before activities inclusions everything works fine. The only problem is that i can't play with standard and new factions or multiple new factions this way at the same time. Any suggestions? Also, nice game and nice mods! I haven't been playing anything that good since half-life in 90s. Too bad that in Russia i have problems to buy CC and can only play trial And sorry for bad English. |

I don't believe the trial allows you to mod it :/ pretty sure only full version works with mods. |

You put it in the wrong order. Make sure everything from Diemos is AFTER all base.rte files except Activities.ini in Base.rte/Index.ini. Madk, the trial version does too allow mods. Six minute timer and no editors, those are the only restrictions. |

Grif, the order is right. I currently have 5 or 6 mods installed. Today i'll try to remove them all and do everything step by step. |

I think I got your problem now... Are you sure you have the newest build of CC? |

Actualy you cant mod cc unregistered version you have to buy it like me. |

O.O What? That's... quite blatantly incorrect... I'm sorry, that's... just... Really, you don't, it's not neccessary to buy CC to mod it for nearly any reason whatsoever. I have yet to use any of the modding features Buying CC gives you. And I modded before I bought it. Alot. |

I can understand where he got that idea from. Log story short- The "Why haven't you bought this yet?" page hasn't been updated since Data added modding to the demo version, so it still says that you can't mod even though you can. |
