Suggestion and/or request.
I had an idea after playing with the Bears Faction. Would it be possible to use that faction without tanks/mechs/bears, and add another one that represents the Western militaries? Basically infantry only, and the AI exclusively uses one of these two factions?

That would be fairly easy to do, but I'm not sure how the code is written. And if you want a balanced western infantry mod, try this obscure one called 'The Coalition'.

Re: Suggestion and/or request.
Well, I was looking more along the lines of something like Bear Federation. The base Coalition has all made-up guns, while BF has semi-realistic ones, which is what I was asking for. If I knew anything about editing, I would gladly do this myself, so instead I'm just throwing the idea out there.
-e- I also don't understand how you can be so snarky to someone who is new to this community. You're certainly not doing the dev's a favor by trying to alienate newcomers.

EDIT: There is no delete button, so I'll just try to think of something to say.
Uh.
If you like semi-realistic weapons, you might enjoy Darkstorm. As for making enemies use the Bear Faction troops, there is an activites tutorial somewhere, though I forget where.
There isn't really a faction representing western soldiers yet (I kind of imagine the AAL as space-americans, but they are not realistic) and I am not in the mood to try making one.

I'll look for an activities tutorial. Thanks for the suggestion.
