Sprite problems!
Okay, so I was making this mod thing or whatever, and when I went to test it out, I got an error message that said: "Failed to load datafile object with following path and name: Dakron.rte/Devices/Weapons/Dakronian Pistol/Dakronianpistol000.bmp "
So I went and check the .ini where the sprite was used, and then I checked the path, and they seemed to be exactly the same.
So, anyone know why its giving me the error message? I snooped around the forums for a bit, and the best answer I could find was something about the palette that the game uses, but I'm not exactly sure what that means....

Re: Sprite problems!
The pistol sprite does not have a second frame, does it? That error usually comes up because people forget to set the FrameCount to 1.

Re: Sprite problems!
The problem you are having is probably related to the framecount of the sprite. To fix it, go to the FrameCount variable under the FilePath, and set it to 1. That way, the game will not need the 000 in the end of the filename anymore.
EDIT: oh no, duh102 was faster than me!

Re: Sprite problems!
Okay, I decreased the frame count to one, not sure if that did it or not.
But I opened up palette.bmp in base.rte and use the colors from that in the pistol.bmp thing.
But it works now, so I don't care.
