Help, my mod is "fudged" up!
Hi there. As you probably noticed, I posted my first mod on thsese forums yesterday. I came up with an idea, being making a new faction and new guns. I started out. "blablabla, name it Evero Army, make different classes, blablabla" .
Now, when I try to run the game with it, it crashes. It says that it can't load the file "Evero Army". What? It's name of the .rte! If someone can see whats wrong and correct it, I would be glad.

I don't use any mod managers, it's done faster by hand.
Yes, it showed up ingame, it had a fun grenade launcher, shitty rocker machinegun and a megaraep Gatling, a smg7 thingy and a grenade.

Nothing wrong that I can see. Maybe it's just your computer?
Rebooting has usually helped me with these kinds of problems.
If you mean the soldiers appearing, well, didn't look into that. Buyable = 0, perhaps? Or did you forget AddToGroup = whatever?

I used "AddToGroup = Evero Army Units", so.. I guess the spaces are wrong? Or what? I'll go check for the Buyable = 1.

I found "FilePath = FilePath =" in some places. Edit: nvm, after fixing those it's still giving an error on line 16 or 160-something of the SpecOps.

Yeah, your actors have a few things wrong. A few of the sprites for the Commander are missing, and in the sniper you forgot that offsets for gibs are specialized GibOffsets. I'm sure there's more, but I'm just going to comment out the actors and let you deal with them. Yes, I'm working on the guns.

I'll go off to test now. Also, what sprites were missing? I were sure I re-spirted them all, and added the icons/etc..

Gonna help u. Lemme test.
EDIT : there are 4 tabs before the IncludeFile that includes Actors.ini.
Fixing and testing
EDIT2: Didnt work.
EDIT 3 : i saw actors had different groups (IE : Commando is in Evero Army units,Infantry is in Every Army) Changing and seeing what it does.
EDIT 4 : definively not working.

I think i got it.
Maybe try putting:
AddToGroup = Actors
and
AddToGroup = Evero Army Units
In the same file,maybe it will work
