Right, this is basically my first pseudo-mod, just some resprites and coding tweaks on some of the guns. Everything is in working order, no errors or the like on loading, but there's one small problem... There are no guns in-game. I'll start up CC and being playing a game, open up the order form and discover that my experimental resprites are missing. Not even the idiotic-looking module pic is there! Does anyone have any idea how this could happen? I'm pretty sure my index is all right, but I'm a rookie, so... |

Yeah, it should be in the .rar file. If not, well, I'm not sure what to say... I blame Alzheimer's. |

Well, I've condensed the .rte and even unloaded all other not-vanilla mods, but still no luck. Anyone? |

They're there, but I can't buy the guns or place them before a game starts or during it. They aren't in the buy menu. |

Tried adding buyable = 1 to the code, with no success. I think these guns are just crappily coded, despite Azzuki having coded them. |

Crappily coded they be, most likely my fault Weird thing is, the first gun was buyable and perfectly usable until I added the second one. Then it all kinda disappeared. |

Try putting them both in seperate .inis. Maybe it's something to do wit something that clashes in the code. |

Still nothing. I think it's a problem with the index, I noticed the loader doesn't even load the .inis other than the index. *EDIT* Here's the new slightly cleaned up .rte |

Tried adding it to weapons? Also, you might want to remove the "_" from the module. I don't think it would affect anything, but you might want to try just in case. |

Yup, tried em both...the .rte used to be named Gun Template.rte before I decided to stop being lazy. |

And after a little testing, the problem is that CC is ignoring my .inis. It didn't flip out when I typed OMG PIE in the first line of one of the .inis, so...any suggestions for broken indices? *EDIT* Problem solved, guns and .rte deleted. I'm sick of CC having infinite cows over some cruddy resprites. It's just not worth it. |

when stuff like this happens you're supposed to move them into a folder outside CC and then back in, its an extraction bug. |

Post subject: | Re: Mystical Disappearing Guns! |
that bug is caused by zip files. Shyguy, I'm pretty sure that your syntax in index.ini is wrong, try removing the tabs in front of the module icon area. |
