Post subject: | Dark Nebular Faction Help!?! |
Hello. I have been making a faction called the Dark Nebular! However, it's been a long LONG time since i was on cortex command and although i remember most stuff as CC is quite simple, there's a few things that i have forgotton or not very good at any more. I was wondering if it would be possible for anyone to help with a couple of things. 1. I can't seem to get the Hand and Arm offsets quite right. 2. I can sprite okay but, i can't get the 001,002,003 right (anyway to tilt them accurately without having to redraw over and over) -----> I have the 000 for everything though. 3. Any criticism for my work? I'm continuously evolving this so the sprites will hopefully keep improving. This is just my template for actor's. I'm pretty good weapon wise. and yes, i have a jet pack i'll add later to bulk things up and add attach-ables... (amour over feet etc) I've included the template that i have been working with, i'm not asking for much and would be very grateful if someone helped me. If all goes well i should have a full faction pretty soon, and i'm all too happy to change to suggestions. |

That sprite is pretty cool. As for the animation frames, if you can split your hand sprite in two, then use some sprite rotator tool, and then paste them together? Just fix the odd stuff that sometimes happens. |

isnt it a tad.. blue? also, for spriting arms, get your straightened arm, open up GIMP, save as "arm001" or whatever, then use the rectangular marquee and rotate tool to rotate the individual bits of your arm, possibly using one of the base sprites for angle reference. works pretty well, but you have to do some cleaning up. |
