Emitter question
Ok, I made a sword that's always on, but I ran into a problem. I point it right, it shoots right. I point it up, it shoots up. I point it down, it shoots down. I point it left, it shoots... right?

Re: Emitter question
Damage is dealt from an attached emitter, and the emitter is spitting in funny directions? Maybe setting an emission angle would help it.

Re: Emitter question
I already have one... the problem is that the direction the emitter emits flips when you turn left. EDIT: Thinking about it, the problem is I need to flip the emitter when the gun is flipped... and I have an unhappy feeling that it might not be possible.

Hm. I'll try it out and see if I can do it.

Re: Emitter question
Ahh, i had that problem too when making the Laser Bayonet. I made a patchy solution by making the gun incredibly tough and making the particles invisible and emitted in both directions. To still make it visible etc, i made an attachment that looked like a laser. After some trial and error, i was able to make the particles reach exactly to the tip of the attachable, and the Laser Bayonet was born... In short, you can't make it flip, so i'd recommend making it fire both ways, somehow.
