I'm wondering if a health gun, or health packs are possible in cortex command in its current state. If there is one can someone post a link to it here. Me and my friend are going to do some base role playing to make the game seam more realistic, and i'm the medic.

Medpacks, yes, medguns, no. And the medpacks will crash your game if you use too many on one actor.

Hmm.. A health gun could be possible if we could stick particles to actors yet...
Stick an AEmitter with negative EmissionDamage and you have a healing gun.

Too bad.

i think data will make some new variables to make as much stuff as possible err.. possible.
also im not sure if this helps but if you put an actor in a craft and take him out again he stops bleeding.

It'd be cool to have something like a porto-medic. A portapotty medical device. Maybe a ship with no thrusters that you place at the begining that is pretty much a rectangle with a cross on it...

To clarify:

it's officially on Data's "to-do" list to implement weapons creating custom wounds. This would truly revolutionize CC; there's countless mods that would then be able to be made. As it is, OrientsToVel is a remarkably useful variable that has yet to be very well used. I mean, hell, none of you have even made a proper bow yet.
