I've been trying to come up with my own bunker modules and the like, but I find myself staring in frustration (Read: Resisting the urge to destroy various graphics programs with a stick) at the MAT .bmps I would like to make.
Is there an exhaustive list for the various materials, at least the base ones, that can be used when defining the MAT information? And by that, I mean the colour coding. (If it's only in the materials.ini I'll work with it.)
Further, does the MAT have to conform to the regular palette, because if so where does the 'Show Background' colour come from?
Sorry if these questions have been answered before.
Cheers!

Re: Odd Question: Colour for MATs
bunkermodules and scenes use a different palette for MATs. try looking at the base bunkermodules, the MAT files of which can be found at base.rte/scenes/objects/bunkermodules

If you have gimp, you can use this .gpl file to index your image.
