Gun shooting backwards?
Before you tell me to look at something with negative recoil, that's not what I want.
I want my gun to shoot not away from me, but towards me. Is there a matrix I'm just not seeing? Please help.

Re: Gun shooting backwards?
1. why would you want that?
2. Im unsure if that could be done, if so, you would have to make the spread a negative or something.

Re: Gun shooting backwards?
You can do it, if I'm reading you correctly. You want your fire to appear like five feet in front of you and head back towards the gun? If so, OrientToVel makes it easy. Just set your MuzzleOffset to somewhere in front of the gun, then fire an OrientToVel = 1.0 emitter and have it immediately emit backwards (don't remember if it's -3.1 or -180, or a matrix). Presto. Firing behind your actor is easy too. Do the same thing, but set the muzzle behind the gun.

Why not just give it a negative FireVelocity? >.>

Re: Gun shooting backwards?
I have a question, is this a suicide gun? Because if it is, the way you make it kill the actor is you make the muzzle offsets on top of the actors head so when it fires the bullet in the actor's head causing... slight bruises.
But if not, then it won't work. A gun can't fire backwards... without casualties.

Seems like Shook's method is easiest, so I'll try that one first. I can't believe I didn't think of that, to be honest.

I don't remember who made it, I think it was Shook though...There was a weapon called the Anal Kanoon ( or something like that) and it shot a fireball out of an actor's arse and the reticule was behind the actor.

Re: Gun shooting backwards?
This could be used to make: MEDI GUNS! Ya, it was used before, but now it can be reused!

No. No it can't.
We would need to be able to create custom wounds.

I made that. When the medipack broke, it would leave a hole behind where the actor had been holding it (called a BreakWound). The wound was invisible and caused negative damage.
