I've made a couple of guns, but they were too weak, but now they seem to be pretty strong, a little too strong, they sometimes crush the character whilst shooting. For instance, this is the round information of a Thompson I've been working on. AddAmmo = Round PresetName = Thompson ParticleCount = 1 Particle = MOPixel PresetName = Particle Gun Template Mass = 0.20 RestThreshold = 500 LifeTime = 1500 Sharpness = 150 HitsMOs = 1 GetsHitByMOs = 0 Color = Color R = 143 G = 143 B = 143 Atom = Atom Material = Material CopyOf = Bullet Metal TrailColor = Color R = 155 G = 155 B = 155 TrailLength = 25 Shell = MOSParticle CopyOf = Gun Template Casing FireVelocity = 60 ShellVelocity = 10 Separation = 5 Even If I give It a tiny mass and sharpness, It seems to just blow me away. Any Ideas? |

I'd try lowering the mass, since it is quite high for a bullet. |

It WAS 0.005 EDIT: Ok, I lowered It to 0.0005, It flings me back just as much. |

I think I fixed It, but for some reason my Thompson Is taking the properties of my Garand. |

Replace "Gun Template" with their appropriate names, CC is probably just getting them mix up with one another. |

Ok. Is there any way to test the guns strength? |

If the mod is playable, just put it in your Cortex Command folder and start the game. Put 2 actors in a secluded area (Actors of your choice, just not Ronin, they're too weak) and give one your gun and shoot it at the other. Just use the observations from that to see what you should do next. |

Got a new error now, "Could not match property at line 221". It does this for my 2 SMGs, but It doesn't define the property, so I can't locate the problem. |

Most likely an error in your syntax. I'll take a look. Are they in your WW2 Pack, or some other mod? And for future reference if you are using notepad to code, go up to format and make sure word wrap is off. You can now use the Replace (Ctrl+H) and Go To Line (Ctrl+G) functions. |

Indeed. They look good. I have a few suggestions though. For one, you might want to lengthen the scope a few pixels on the Springfield. Then it would be accurate. And your Module Icon is still the template's, might want to start on that. |
