				  Guided Missles  
					
						Ok i've got a Missle launcher and i want the Missle to be guided after being shot. How do i code this?

						The only way is know is to make an actor. Once shot, you switch control to the actor and you direct it to an ennemy. 
  I have an idea that might just work. Make an actor armed with a gun that fires negative mass particles and make the gun's range 99999 or so. When shot, the actor will try to shoot at ennemies and the negative recoil will drag it towards them.

						Has been done.. but i dont think the mod still exists..
  btw when i meant been done i was talking about both of the things you said.
  but to make the missile (actor) selectable after firing it has to be ejected from some sort of craft (a rocket or a drop ship)

						Yes, but then your kill count goes up one.
 
  Also. You can just order it from the great big ship in the sky and have the same effect.

						Blipflip created the first homing missile, which was a gun that fired an actor. The actor carried a gun that would propel it forward into the target, and the actor had explosive gibs.
  Numgun at one point used the method, but later stopped using it, and a fair few modders have incorporated it in different ways.
  It's the best way to make a homing missile at the moment, although there's still plenty of problems with it.

						The +1 kill could be neutralized by the "fire a craft into the sky" bug.

						I remember that, but it was just the same as the negative recoil self destruct actor, but loaded on a auto-gib craft to make it controllable.
