Ok, so I've spent some time working on my mod, the Scavenger union, and came up with a coalition zombie, pictured below:


So I thought:
" Hey, it would be cool if, aside from buying this guys, you could order a broken coalition dropship that fell somewhere on the map and started spawning zombies at a constant rate."
Ok, so far, so good, but there was one problem: the Coalition hasn't, so far, got a dropship of its own to use as a spriting base.
" No matter, I'll make one myself!"
That's what I thought.
So I started spriting, and continued doing so for a long time.
And when I finished, the result was this:



When I looked at it, it was so horrible and mediocre that my eyes popped out of my face, tried to drown themselves in the bathtub and, failing to do so, exploded in thousands of little pieces, that then self-combusted.
After a brief surgery, I looked at it again and decided that, while my spriting abilities are enough to make a *Reasonable* (meaning "not absolutely horrible") gun, or maybe a small actor, they wouldn't help me when it came to something as big as an dropship.
And so, I came here to beg for someone gentle enough to make a coalition dropship sprite for me. To those interested, here are the rules:

RULES:
-The objective of this contest is to make a coalition dropship sprite;
-Anyone might post their sprites;
-The sprite must be reasonably big ( at least the size of a dropship MK1) and the color theme must be green;
-Making gibs is optional, but appreciated;
-A "working, but barely" look would also be preferable;
-After a week has passed, the best sprite will be chosen and used in the mod, and its creator will have his/her name included in the credits.

Before anyone starts flaming me for being too lazy to sprite the ship myself, I will make it very clear that I am only making this contest because my spriting skills are mediocre, and you are completely free not to participate.
Also, your name in the credits may not seem much, but hey, in the modding business, what else do I have to offer?
I actually don't expect that many people will be interested in this contest, but I'll give it a try anyway.

Considering how you've made it more of a contest, It's ok in mod-making. And people actually READ threads in mod making...

If it is an actual contest and not just a request disguised as a contest then I see no reason for it to be moved. Also entries will probably be delayed in the next few days and what not.

I may or may not partake in this contest, but it will be interesting to see what people make, and I hope they do make something for you. Also you haven't specified whether you want it as just a singular sprite or as individual pieces that will combine to form the overall sprite. (plus do you want gibs or not?)

There was a coalition dropship once, created by some modder. I'll look around and see if I can find it.

I honestly think that this whole mod of yours is rather half assed and while some of the content is good it should be discontinued in pursuit of a more original and boss nasty mod.

There indeed was a Coalition Ship called the "Bethesda" in the past, I think around Build 21 time. Let me see if I can still find it.


Edit: Found it. Looks a little cartooney, and may not be exactly the size or shape of what you might want.

That ship? I thought it's awesome. Used it throughout B21 back then.

Yeah the Bethesda ship IS awesome, but... Dunno, I think it's a tad too big, and I don't want to use something that has already appeared in a mod, I was aiming for something more... Unique, maybe...

Yeah it was called Bethesda . I'm sure i have that for b20 . I need to find it and convert to b22 .

Don't mind my asking, but out of curiosity, why would the coalition go around in something that's barely flying. Sounds like something the ronins would fly in. The coalition are...well, the coalition! They're an army of soldiers who are all cloned and just about the same. If I were you, I'd go for more of the camouflaged look. I picture the coalition running into battle in formation or snaking through trenches rather than getting delivered, running from the ship, watching it explode and then go to battle. That's my advice. Take it or leave it.

Yeah, that's a pretty good point, but the fact is: this ship is no longer under the coalition's control. The scavengers came, attacked the ship, killed everyone inside and infected them with nanobots to transform them in zombies. Then, they let the ship fly away, remote-controlled , to use later as a kamikaze ship that crashes somewhere and starts releasing the zombies.
That is the purpose of the sprite.
