Portable equipment dispenser or P.E.D
Is there any way to make a grenade that you throw and upon detonation gibs into a craft that dispenses medkits/weapons depending upon which PED you chose in the buy menu?
I'm certain you can't make things gib into crafts though, so is there any way we could make a portable equipment dispenser that's controllable? (like it won't dispense one every minute, only on your will it will) with a premise similar to what i described?

You can gib crafts. You can actually gib anything, except for the object that's doing the gibbing.
Nice idea: it would eventually run out of supplies, but could be manually re-filled.
How you'd do it:
Grenade. explodes into craft (weird techniques to make it controllable if it isn't already) Craft is pinned. Add inventory whatever.
Easy.

It doesn't really matter if it will eventually become empty, if we can make it gib into scrap when it does or give it a weakspot that you shoot to make it harmlessly gib into scrap that's fine, cause it can be replaced.

If you're talking about devices only still, you don't need a craft for that either; they can also be emissions. ---Jetpack emissions on a certain actor, even, if you'd like.
Or they can be round particles, and you could just have a really slow gun-shooting gun. Yo dawg I herd you like guns so we put a gun in yo gun so you can shoot while u shoot.
Or they could be a grenade's gibs, and not controlled.

can they be controlled at will by the player?
because if i understand it correctly you can just select the craft, left click and you have your item.

I think Neoseeker wants it in craft form so it is a permanent object that sits there, you select it, open your doors, drop a gun, close your doors. you have like, 20 guns in there.
Only way to do that is either a craft or something like the old dispenser, which was a pinned actor with a device which fired devices.

Actually, you can make something gib itself. You just have to define it twice, first so that it doesn't gib itself, second time so that it does. Because there already is an object defined by the same instance name, the game wont crash when it's reading the gibs.

There's something in the mod archive that works like this. It's a pinned actor that sits there and has a gun that makes other guns fall. There was a shotgun one, an AK-47 one and a bunch of other stuff. Why would making it a craft be better than a pinned actor with a gun shooter.
