Inspired by Cryogun from Darkstorm mod I wanted to do some cryonades for myself. So when i done nade I wanted to do bigger and bader version but simple increasing amount of gibs didnt do the job and effect is even smaller than from nade. Can someone hint me on how to increase bomb effectivenes? Also I would appriciate some other tips on this. How I can improve it, make it feel more realistic, etc. |

I don't see a problem here (actually i don't see why i should see problem here) ![]() ![]() EDIT: I was fiddling with it a little bit but still result is not satisfaying. I noticed that there is much more particles when it detonates mid air, what's the reason? |

Ahh it sounds like the gib spread means the ice shard MOSRotatings sometimes just get launched into the ground and stay there 'cos they're made of the wet concrete material; I was messing around with this too, and i've been finding it quite hard to get a satisfactory result so far. Also, I was wondering exactly what kind of effect you were after, be it a kind of snowstorm or just to create a layer of ice over things? Otherwise i'll dl v2 and carry on tinkering if i've got time I like the sprites, by the way ![]() |

Idealy it would freeze over stuff but since sticky particles are not yet implemented so i guess it will have to be something like it is right now. Well I was thinking that because sprite somewhat sunk in ground all particles are held there ,so in this new version I made little nades which are released from bomb (I got this idea cause I always pack lots of bombs and grenades in rockets and crash them in stuff ![]() Also I loled at pretty sprites . It's very rare to see someone complimenting me on art related stuff, in school I always had 2 (1-6 scale, 1 means youre total moron and you have to repeat year). EDIT: Its quite confusing. I was looking for this thread for few minutes in Mod Making but it seems someone moved it to releases. Problem is that its far from beign finished . Even that little what already is needs some work. Also before it could be called proper mod i think it should consist from at least few guns etc. So my point is that its not my fault its in Mod Releases so no flaming on me ![]() |

.....someone moved it to releases? my goodness. why don't we just put everything in a thread entitled "yaaaaaay" and be done with it if janekk gets flamed by a load of people going "OMGWTFNOOB MOD MAKING" then this'll be more ridiculous than a book on how to read |

technically, it's meant to be here in Mod Releases, but if you use JUST A TINY BIT of common sense, it should be in mod making. silly moderators. |

Don't know who moved it to Releases, but this is going back to Mod Making. And, come on guys. Don't sass the mods if you see this happening, report it, PM someone, take it to IRC.. anything really. |

More or less I've finished bombs. Now Im polishing flak like cannon I've made today. I have problem with cannon animation. It goes way too fast to notice something changed even with 7 frames ![]() EDIT: One more thing, Bomb more or less works now but not in a way i wanted. Those little bombs that are released were supposed to detonate on short timer covering whole area with shards but i can't get it to work. ActivateOnRelease (or something like that) doesn't help at all. Can someone help? |

Refreshing thread. Anyone? I have only two little problems. Its not that much I'm asking for (I have feeling that people are somewhat avoiding this thread because of "nooby" in title ![]() |

I don't know how to fix either problem, but if you think 'nooby mod' is scaring people off, edit your first post and change the title. make it less ambiguous this time too. |
