How to stop round piercing through attachables?
The problem I'm having is that armour plates on a soldier's head fail to stop bullets destryoing said head, and can even (somehow) result in it's destruction:
I've tried making them weigh 0.00001, in order to try and prevent the rounds 'crushing' the head, changing gib weight for the same reason, cutting down on the number of gibs, and nothing works. One attachable works, the next doesn't.
Just like in real warfare, one develops armour piercing rounds and another needs to develop armour that can withstand these new rounds. That's me.
Suggestions?

Structural Integrity? Gib impulse limit? Gib wound limit? And making them less massive makes them more liable to fall off.

oh, wait, piercing; oops. yeah, raise the structural integrity and mass of the attachables a bit, but basically if a bullet would go through something of that size, it'll go through an attachable of that size.. making the things gib less shouldnt do much, unless its the gibs that are causing his head to implode.

Ok, so I should:
- put the mass up? Won't that mean the bullet particles would crush the head? - make a tougher, custom material for it.
I'll do the latter, although I hate using materials since the weird numbers you have to assign it...
Edit: custom materials did stuff all.

You can just do CopyOf of a regular material, then edit its properties. Thats what I do, since I don't want to deal with possible material number conflicts

Ooh, I didn't know you could do that. I made mine 333 anyway.
And Mass is what did it folks. Make your mass higher and you'll be able to resist the piercing powers.
