I'm working on my Base Defense mod, and I'm trying to make a turret only fire straight down, and I can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help me?

You pretty much can't.

Current build doesn't allow any restriction of actor aiming.

You could make a door that allows an emitter to fire, though.

Don't crabs have restricted aim angles, Grif?

Yeah, but they restrict them on an X-axis. You can restrict their angle of elevation, but you can't rotate that restriction 90 degrees to the right axis.

They're restricted based on a range horizontally, as ODIN said, and also the range is locked to the world; so there's no way to apply that.
