| Post subject: | How do you make Maps/Scenes? |
I see a few maps in the scenes section but I haven't seen any mapmaking program. How do I make them? Making maps is what I do best when I find a new game. I've made maps for warcraft and stuff like that so I'd like to make some for CC. EDIT: Just realized I put this is the wrong section. Please move mod. |

You have to draw the bitmap files and program the materials and crap. I'm sure theirs tons of tuts... |

There is a scene making section, you know. Basically, you mess around with the bmp in the scenes folder, but put it in it's own .rte. And copy one of the scene definitions. |

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5882 Basic tutorial to get you started. LordTim might also have one in his stickied tutorial topic. There should also be something on the Wiki, there's scene templates hosted in stickied topics, and really the way you make maps is the same way you do everything in CC: find one, edit it, see what it does, learn. |
