With the new build 21 released, I am sure that everyone is excited to see some new mods that take full advantage of all of Lua's features. As a small-time mod maker, I understand most concepts of coding actors, weapons, etc. However, I have no Idea how the script engine relates to any of this and turns that code into a game.
Basicly, I just want to know what possible features us modders could use to alter the game (besides the use of the in-game console.) In other words, how exactly does changing the game from C++ to Lua alter any gameplay content? And also, If anyone knows any possible code to input into the in-game console, that would be helpful. Thanks.
I haven't been on the forum in a while, so please no flamming, either constructive feedback or kindly tell me how much of an idiot I am
.
Edit: I realized that I might have posted this in the wrong sub-forum (General topic maybe?).
