This was my first shot at my own mod, but it's kinda turned into a collab. I'm trying to get a dummy with the dreadnought's bottom half. This is what zalo made: Attachment: SpiderClone.rte.rar **edit** Thanks for helping me out so far... Gah! Attachment: Walker.rte.rar This looks good so far! If anyone can touch this up and make it actually walk above the ground, or even make the legs walk horizontally, you're welcome to do so, and if you do, please give us the updated version! Another edit... Not good, not bad... Especially for a first mod... Though I had a ton of help. Attachment: centaur.rte.rar It looks like it's finally working somewhat like I wanted it to... A little bit of repositioning and it'll look nice... The downside is that the legs show. I suppose I could move the big parts back to being the actual legs and make new (tiny) feet, but I think I'll settle with what I have for now. Thanks for all the help, everyone. I'll be sure to try to make more and better mods in the future, along with being much less of a thorn in your side. |

You need to make the leg names the same as the ones stated to be copied in the main actor's coding. |

Entirely fixed: Error 1. No index.ini. That's absolutely necessary. Period. Error 2. "Dummy Crab Leg FG" is not the same as "Dummy Crab Leg FG A". The actor referenced Dummy Crab Leg FG A, but the code only defined "Dummy Crab Leg FG". Error 3. Crab walkpaths cannot be applied to AHuman class actors. Here's the mod, working, but it's very likely not what you expected. |

Hey, thank you very much, lad. I'm sure it's not exactly what I want, but that's probably for the better. I added an index.ini (you could see on the edit) and I just noticed that missing "A." Thanks again. Though I had no idea about the walkpaths. I suppose you learn a little bit everyday, though... Even if it's not what I wanted, that'll just give me something to try for, and make it better. |

Grif wrote: Error 3. Crab walkpaths cannot be applied to AHuman class actors. We want that crab walkpath if it's going to have the dreadnought's bottom half. will changing it from an Ahuman to an Acrab render the top half inoperable? |

Sorry, all I read of was "Dreadnought's bottom half.." and I made this real quick like. I can PM it to you if you want it. |

yes please! This is almost exactly what I wanted! (alright, I can make the minor changes by myself. I'm not completely incompetent. ) |

Go check you PMs, and note, the Head doesn't move. I could make the head move, if you wanted it to shoot lasers out of its eyes. (Turn the head into the gun.) |

Post subject: | Re: Walker help |
As entertaining as that would be, I just want it to use regular guns. The nonmoving head won't be a problem. |

I kinda liked the first one. XD Looks like a dummy who got his feet shot off so now he's crawling around on his knees. I'm actually going to use it and call it "crippled dummy". : D |
