TDExplosive velocity adjusting?
Hi all. I'm attempting to make a land mine, but I have the problem of the deployer grenade throwing out the very delicate mine actor at high speed, so he hits something and blows up. there are 2 ways around this problem as I see it:
-change the TDExplosive velocity so it hardly shoots it out at all -make the land mine appear slightly above the grenade when it detonates (problem with this is won't it rotate, meaning the top is the bottom and so on?)
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: TDExplosive velocity adjusting?
InheritsVel = 0?
So that the mine actor could be spawned at any velocity without any affect by its parent.

Re: TDExplosive velocity adjusting?
Bottom of the AddGib line, ie after MaxVelocity and MinVelocity.

Re: TDExplosive velocity adjusting?
You could have the weapon's round gib into a pinned object which then gibs into the mine actor.
TDExplosive (personally I'd use MOSR but doesn't matter) is fired by gun -> td hits ground, gibs pinned mosrotating with attached emitter timer -> mosr gibs into actor.
Alternately, weapon round hits ground, gibs into pinned mosr, mosr has an attached emitter, emits the actor, then it has a short lifetime so it dies immediately after.

Re: TDExplosive velocity adjusting?
I tried using a MOSR before the actor, but It actors simply walked through it. and yes, I tried HitsMOs and GetsHitbyMoss and the like. Hmm, thinking I'll just drop the whole thing, It's not essential to what I'm doing anyway. KthnxBai
