Post Your Activities Here!
Well I decided to create this after I got sick of fighting the KMF, Crobos and all the other available enemies. So, this is a topic where you post your custom activities and people dl and comment on them. Think of it as something similar to the mini mod section. Just another service to the community. So please, take a little of your time and post your homebrewed activities, whether they are aal marines allied with darkclones, or an army of mechs! Go crazy and have fun.
Oh, and please be nice.

I support this thread but each uploaded activity must have a list of the stuff that is included in it. This way we can go and pick all the stuff we need and disable the index.ini in each of these mods ourselves using the easy block commenting method so that mods wouldnt load twice: Code: /*

No, these activities that people post here are to be placed in Base.rte, especially if it uses multiple mods or parts from multiple mods.
What I mean by commenting stuff out, since the base.rte loads always first and only then the mods.
This means that we must take every index.ini file from EVERY included mod and stick em in the Base.rte's own index.ini so that the activities would work.
Now if we dont delete/uncomment the IncludeFile = "blah blah" lines in the mod's index.ini from where we took the code from, the mod will load twice and clutter your buy menu quite alot.

Yay, a place to put my very own, hand typed, sort of difficult, Activities.ini ! Ok, mine has default content only. here is a list of what's in it:
DS 2 Skeles both w/ Blunderbus Pistol Shield Light digger

sorry for the revive, but this is a good topic. \ Attachment: Activities.rar darkstorm activities, works native in the darkstorm folder, comment out base.rte activities and include the ini in the darkstorm index. this is fun, but a little hectic at death, hilarious in prom grounds on death, its quite swarmy. only problem is, the AI sucks. anyway, try it. only uses raijus because when i used yatagarasu drops and raijus the ships got landed on and it was messy, and i prefer the pods anyway.

here we go. This folder contains coalition heavy 5 times stronger than usual(THE ARMOR IS THE SAME, EVERYTHING ELSE X5) It;s called the coalition 5X. i wanted a tough activities, it is. There's 2 drop types. One is heavy arms, 3 Coalition5X with flask cannon and medium digger the other type is all standard, 3 coalition 5x with ak-47, riot shield, pistol and heavy digger. Try it out, it's pretty tough. Enjoy.

NOOB QUESTION FOLLOWING: So, do I just copy paste this over my old Activies.ini (after I back up my old Activities) and it's good? Sorry, I'm not so good with figuring this kind of thing out.

Yeh you can, but I usually do this: 1) Create a new folder called <whateveryouwant>.rte 2) Create a new txt file and rename the whole thing to Index.ini your comp may ask you something, say yes. 3) Add this to it: Code: DataModule [tab] IncludeFile = <whateveryouwant>.rte/Activities.ini
replace tab with the push of a tab key 4) Paste the activities there. 5) go to base.rte/Index.ini and put // in front of "IncludeFile = Base.rte/Activities.ini " Step 5 should look like this Code: DataModule IncludeFile = Base.rte/Materials.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Sounds.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Effects.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Ammo.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Devices.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Actors.ini IncludeFile = Base.rte/Scenes.ini // IncludeFile = Base.rte/Activities.ini
now when ever you want the old base.rte activities erase the // and put them in front of the same line just in the new rte you made (do the same for other activities) Hope I helped, ~Roon3
