Post subject: | Help me with this sprite |
Just to be clear this is not my first mod, I have reprogrammed other mods but this is the first one in which I have made my own sprite. Onto the problem: The .ini for the weapon works and it goes into the game without a problem but when I purchase the weapon, the picture is the other way around and all messed up, just lines and a few bits of it visible. When I use it it works perfectly, except that the area that is supposed to be transparent also makes where it is on the actor transparent, this is only when looking to the right. When I turn around to the left it becomes messed up again, just different colored lines and some parts of the weapon and all in the total square including the pink parts. Any help with this problem would be appreciated. |

Fix'd. Add this to your file and it'll work normal in-game now. |

Please refrain from douple posting. Use the edit button, which is located in the upper right corner of your post, to access your previous post and then be able to change its contents. And I think the problem with your sprite was that its colors weren't included in the cc palette. |

You need to put all your picture files in a specific colour mode and need to convert them to the right palette. What programs do you use to paint? If you have no choice but to use MS Paint, I think you can use the fixed sprite that Dudeguy gave you and paint over that, saving it as another file name. Hopefully it'll keep the correct palette. |

I always just copy and paste a bmp file already in palette, rename it, and then copy and paste whatever into it with paint and then just save it from there. Always works for me. |
