Post Enemy Spawning
K, I have a little problem.
I have a map whose only opening is an opening that leads to the top, but none of the enemy dropships come.

Any idea why or how to fix it?
(Ignore the dots)

One more problem.
How do you get the coordinates to put an object on a map
ex. (x = 5647
y = 7864)

Map
................................Opening
....................................v

I dunno about the spawn thing, but i'm guessing that the coordinates would be similar to gun offsets. They probably start in the top right, unless there's a sceneoffset variable or something.

You can't, for the first thing.

As for the second, the entire map is quadrant four of a coordinate plane.

Positive X values push something to the right. Negative Y values push something down.

At least, as far as I remember.

As far as I can guess drop ships should still come through that hole whenever the game decides that a ship should spawn there, but there would be less ships spawning since the game would cancel out all the impossible spawns and try again next 'turn'.
Also, they don't seem to spawn immediately around and above your brain, so if the brain is placed right beneath that hole nothing would spawn at all.

That's my guess anyway. I could be wrong, but it sounds logical to me.

About getting the coordinates; there's no way to check that out in the game itself as far as I know, but you can place an object, quit CC and check the scene.ini file to see the last placed object + coordinates.

Dropships will *still* spawn, though they won't appear if their drop location is not in the opening. But they'll drop the units anyway. They'll just come to the opening in search of the brain, and fall right through.

Not much of a problem, but I'd suggest making some airspace. Maybe the space you need to put two rockets, on top of the other, in perfect vertical position.

As for the other thing, I can't help you, but I 'd go with what grif said.
