DOOM mods
I was thinking about how the Spider Mastermind has four legs and is all kick-ass, ya know? So I got to thinking that some dedicated spriters and coders out there might do something with the enemies you find in DOOM, be it the first/second, third, etc. I'd do this sort of thing on my own, but spriting larger things, I fail it.

Re: DOOM mods
Actually I already know someone who's making a Doom total conversion, he's already got a working level.

Re: DOOM mods
The only Doom I liked was the first one where large pink things ran down vents at you very fast like gorrilas. The third one, I shat my pants when the light went out at the very start. I said "Can't wait to get outta here". My brother then replied "The whole games like this".
I promptly returned the game the next day.

Yeah, they f*cked up Doom 3. Spent all the time and money paying people to make GEORGIOUS textures and models, and then turned out all the lights. Pretty much everyone hated it.

Re: DOOM mods
Hated it? Everyone loved 3. Now stop discussing the games and discuss the creation of said mods if you are going to make them.

ANONLAWL: ? venn177: Telling people about it. venn177: 'hype' ANONLAWL: Uh, sure I guess venn177: Good venn177: Now uhh venn177: briefly describe it ANONLAWL: just dont post any content venn177: I'll keep you anonymous, to make it more awesome. ANONLAWL: The doom mod is going to include all the weapons, bosses, most of the enemies from doom, extra enemies, and campaign mode (it will basicly be a series of skirmish maps with bosses at the end that act as green team's brain venn177: Woo. Anything else you want to tell DRL? ANONLAWL: Nah, i'll leave it there... venn177: 'kay. Awesome. Do we have an ETA for an alpha or beta, yet? ANONLAWL: Hmm, maybe a few weeks... Depends venn177: Cool, cool. venn177: That's all for now. venn177: Thanks for your time.
EDIT: THIS JUST IN, BreenedandScrooned, noted for his amazing sprites that have been used in numerous mods, will be the art director for the Doom mod that is in the works! Next time on venn's Special Interview News, THE RETURN OF MAXIMDUDE!??!? and BreenedandScrooned: The College Years.

I'm looking more for actors rather than guns.

Re: DOOM mods
It has 3 DOOM actors, a green Marine, a blue Marine, and a red Marine. As for the DOOM enemies, it doesn't have them.
