Can anyone else try to add a homing missile actor to another actor's hands using the Helddevice codes? I tried it using numgun's AAL Homer and putting it into the hands of a coalition heavy. It did have the effect I intended it to have, but it was really unstable and crashed often. I assumed it was because of the quick and shoddy way I coded it in, but can someone else do it to confirm if it's just unstable overall, or it was because of my shoddy coding. |

It would help if your posted your code. Pretty cool idea, you would be automatically boosted towards the nearest enemy. |

The code is really messy, I just pasted numgun's code into the soldier.ini in the base folder. And my intended effect was for the missile to "lock" on a target while it's still held, and then for the actor holding it to throw it. |

Might be a physics issue. The held actors sometimes shoot the holder, with the rocket that would cause strangeness. |
