Ideas I will never get around to making.
I've pretty much given up in modding. I've got a couple of ideas that I believe are good, and certainly feasable.
One-Way-Equipment Teleporter (OWET)
The OWET is just a pinned rocket. The sprite is split into two objects, with a fair amount of distance between them. The doors are located on one of the objects (Offsets). When you open the doors to a craft, you can throw objects in through the engine for all the rocket cares and it will still end up inside. So if this object is miles away from the actual doors, the objects will still go inside.

It's hard to explain so I over-explained.
Long Range Buckshot IMO not as original.
It fires a grenade, full of particles of death with a slight spread. The bomb itself is harmless to actors, but it is timed. Basically, it blows up in mid air and spreads deathy death. If you fire too close it doesn't work, too far away and it spreads too much. But the sheer power makes up for it.
Like I said. I've given up on modding. These ideas are free for all.
But for petes sake don't bicker like in the sand coatilation topic. They're only mods.

The long range buckshot sounds like the flak gun. Couldn't you just mod that slightly? Surely that couldn't be too hard
And your OWET still doesn't make sense, Perhaps some sudocode or a diagram would help because it cant be as simple as im thinking it is.

Basically his teleporter idea is just a pinned rocket with two separate parts; one part has the craft's exit, and the other is just part of the body.
You chuck a gun at a rocket's nose, it comes out the door. You chuck a gun into part of the craft's body, it comes out the exit. Those don't necessarily need to be close together.
It's a kinda useless concept, in my opinion, because it will only work with devices. It was discussed whenever whoever made a "portal gun".
And the long range buckshot is something I've thought of, and tried. It's not a very original idea, nor is it new. It would basically be a small flak cannon, with getshitby/hitsMOs = 0 shells that have weak velocity gibs rather than explosion particles and a shorter triggerdelay. It doesn't work out to be very fun.
Instant triggerdelay while doing this, though, you can make a huge assortment of particles for a gun, rather than just a certain particle at a certain quantity.

The OWET is for those people who build bases underground, or just don't want to have to bring the super weapon ALL the way down through their maze once they've bought it.
The LRBS was just a random side-idea.

I think the OWET is a really cool idea, currently doesn't have much use, but when missions are implemented it could be really useful. Now we just needa be able to load actors into rockets and we've got a one-way portal!
Also it'd work better if when a rocket's doors were open the stuff came out automatically, but you have to close/open the doors again to make it drop them.

I've been thinking about something similar to the OWET for a long time, but it seems I've gone a step further; you can make a fully fledged transport system with a bit of work. Consider this. You throw a weapon into the OWET chute, it appears on the other side. Then it drops into a directional accelerator. The directional accelerator is another ACRocket which takes advantage of the fact that you can specify the X and Y velocities for an exit. It will fling the weapon at very high speeds left, right, up or down, depending on which one you use. Then another directional accelerator CAN CATCH IT AND SET IT IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. Eventually it can lead to another entry/exit chute, which will slow it down to non-lethal speeds. So we have an incredibly quick transport system for in-base shenanigans. You could use it to set up turrets as well, as it would work equally well with TDExplosives, which could explode into turrets upon arrival. It wouldn't be overpowered, as a human player could disrupt the enemies system simply by destroying one of the directional accelerators. See crappy crappy 10-second diagram. Attachment:

One problem, you need to toggle the doors for it to fire. Although that idea is ♥♥♥♥ epic.

I just had an Idea: for 100 oz per use a repair station! anyactor that goes in will get all weapons and limbs, ect restored completely, however it costs 100oz per use and takes about 30 secs per 100 health it heals. Ninja edit: whoops wrong topic

Hey, about the OWET, does TDExplosives still get "absorbed" by craft? That'd be awesome to throw a powerful bomb through the tele, then spit it out to the other side.
