Post Sound recording from games
Hi peeps,

Has any of you recorded any sounds to be used in your mods?
I am hoping someone has a tip on what program to use. I've never used any sound programs (modded games to death, but never sounds) and I can't rip any sound that's played through my speakers from DosBox.

I am wanting to rip weapon sounds from an old dos classic.

I hope someone can nudge me in the right direction. Thanks.

Google for Audacity, its free and it can get you far.

Its basically a sound editing software that allows you to record anything and edit anything.

Thanks! Got it working now too. Some bloody setting was disabled somewhere, so it didn't pick up any sounds. :x
I am getting too old for this. :)
Now on to make some weapons...
