When i used the Gun Template for making a new gun i got a problem.
It looks like he`s holding a gun and not a rifle. How do i fix that?

And does enyone have a smart tip to find the x and y without guessing and then starting the game?

And can enyone explain how the x and y work in this game? its a bit different from other programs i have.

Sorry for my bad English, and thanks for helping!

First of all, you have to sprite your own gun, don't expect it to be that simple, that you download something, and it has exactly what you want it to. You have to make your own sprites.

Second...

But it's not that simple. If you make a rifle sprite, the game doesn't just go "OOH RIFLE" and change variables. You have to go in and do it yourself. The variable you're looking for is HeldOffest of something.

Offsets.

Ew.

Joint Offset is where the FG hand holds the gun.

Support Offset Is where the BG hand holds the gun.

Stance Offset is where the gun is held normally.

Sharp Stance Offset is where it is held in sharp aim.

All of these are calculated from the sprite offset, which is calculated from the top left of the sprite. and is also the center of gravity for a sprite. If you make it way out there, the gun will rotate around some unknown point in space.
Didn't feel like making another post. Sup TD.
