hi. how do people make those perfect and cartoon-look sprites? i dont have photoshop or anyof those software. also, i dont have administrative power over computer. Please help. im trying to make a chinese new year dragon spirte. |

Hi there. Making sprites requires a lot of practice, so don't expect to make a masterpiece on your first try. Google for some tutorials. As for programs, I use Microsoft Paint. |

A cartoon-like sprite? I thing you should make a very wide black line as *** (forgot name) and use some strong colors, like red, yellow, brown, purple,white, blue and green. |

For cartoon sprites, don't go for detailed shading, keep it basic, use dithering if you have to, though. |

thanks guys. 1 question though to THUNDER TOES: i remember somebody posting a username is the mod making section. they said the person was awsome at sprites. i remember it had the word toes in it. is that you? if so, im wowed to get your advice. |

That was probably one of Thanatos' mods, as I remember him saying the same thing, and it was in fact about Thunder Toes. He's one of the few really good spriters we have here. |
