Due to something to do with Thor my last topic was deleted but I still need help as I really want to be able to sprite. I have already made a sprite but I'm not sure if it would work in an actual mod. Thank you to anyone that can help. New one up with seperate armour peices but its still a JPG. Just to show you what it looks like and I still dont know how to get the proper colours. I've gone to image > mode > indexed colour. But then what?

Look at the sprites for actors in base.rte or in Azuki's templates, all of the components need to be separate images. |

I have split it up into armour/attachments for you. Now you have to do the body, arms and head without armour on (you could do the hands and feet as well if you think the coalition hands and feet don't go with you colour scheme). note: I have made mods before and I know they should be split up, this is just for show. edit: looking at it now something looks a little wrong with it.

Ah so the head and that, that are sectiond of are different images put on top of each other? Anyway I'm working on it with no armour on now so should be done in 10 minutes or something. Edit: Everything I used to help me with learning to sprite has been deleted by THOR damn him. So now I need more help than before. Also I forgot what kind of colours you use, becuase in photoshop I remember going to Image then mode then indexed colour but I'm not sure what to do after that. |
