Re: AAL Bomb pack discussion topic! *PIX OMFG*
Ah, thought so. Anti-matter bomb ... interesting idea. Seems to throw the whole "Positive attracts Negative, but repels Positive" out the ... uh ... universe.
Btw, how's that destroy-everything-but-concrete bomb coming, numgum?

Edit: pic of CERN and their particle accelerator (the big ring) and a couple cool diagram picture things i just googled which might aid my terrible explanation. HEY!! how can that be hydrogen, / antihydrogen if it has 2 protons and a neutron?? <.< hydrogen has one proton, one electron and no neutrons

If not, and it was still an actor that would require quickly changing and controlling something after it fell from a transport before it hit the ground...I'm pretty sure that would not be possible. yeah its already taken. it works through!

well it depends on what isotope it is, i think that model is using the isotope called tritium (i think thats the right one) I think it has 2 neutrons, 1 proton, and 1 electron.

How's about a bunker buster?
Launches a projectile directly into the air, which then detonates, sending a heavy projectile a short range directly downwards, obliterating just about anything in its way, then explodes.

How about a shockwave bomb, or a tornado/wind bomb? Both would throw or push actors and possibly loose items away? More for fun then to do damage.

Lot more flashy, not as cartoony, and is should actually work, instead of turning my map into a mush of free-floating pixels. Frankly, I think the drowner bomb just looks silly. I'm also thinking the downwards projectile should be more of a rocket type (particle emitter-driven) rather than pulled downwards by gravity. Guess I'll just sit down with the idea and see what I can make on my own.

I know what you're saying, someone made one way back in B13. Like, it digs, but not meltifys like the drowner.

Re: AAL Bomb pack discussion topic! *PIX OMFG*
Hi again!
Im still working hard on this pack and im very close to completion. All I need is another... 4 bombs.
I have these letters left: K, N, W, Y.
And I also have 2 ideas for bombs but no idea what names will I give them.
1. Spawns either an actor or some creature or thing that upon seeing an enemy it will home on to it and either explode or smash it really hard.
2. Mapwipe. For those who dont know its a superbomb that cleans the whole level. The point is this: Its ridiculously powerful but it leaves a big bomb device that doesnt fight back and is rather easy to destroy and it takes about a minute or two before it will actually explode.
Suggest so I can finally finish the v2 of this pack!

N: NetherBomb
when it blows up, it emits about 10 black and red glowy/screeneffect cluster bombs, and each one of those throws out about 15 black/red pixels.

Re: AAL Bomb pack discussion topic! *PIX OMFG*
Name the Y bomb Yajat: alternate name for the Hindu god Shiva. Spawns a bronze statue that is still until it sees something, and then attacks with an equipped sword/knife thing that flings it forward a la the kamikaze device. Just pointier. And K could be potassium bomb- burns with a violet flame and emits invisible negative mass particles. Do not ask why potassium would do that... it doesn't. But then again, people's heads are not as large as their torsos, so let's throw away reason and forget the impossible. That's the way AAL works.
