Hey all, I've got a pretty sweet idea for this, if anyone's stuck for something to make, gimme a bell. I'll probably require a decent amount of Lua, so just keep that in mind.

I really want to enter this contest... but I have one question. Can you do something with lua that someone has already done I.E. If I want to make a hover craft but the only way I could do that would be to look at parts of other people's work That isn't really what I want to do but its pretty much the same senario (if I get a no I have a plan B )

wow, people have thin skins on the dev-log. getting more sketches done. for anyone struggling to find inspiration, there is a shitload of it on deviantart, which should be helpful to those who dont have the time or cant make their own concept art.

Question.
Can it be a mod centered around zombie/undead killers? Like there are no actual undead actors/devices/whatever that are actually undead, but they have to do with hunting them?

yeah, this sounds fun. i suck at making sprites but im sure i can find something to do. i have an idea for weaponry that you guys could do, if u decide to use it, PM me asking (most likly ill say yes) anyway, make "The Necronominon" the necronominon is a spel book for the dead used in army of darkness movie. the necronominon would be the name of the mod but the spells would be the individual spells. all you have to do is set the distance in wich the projectile (spell) is fired to about a bodys length away from your charicture and the velocity to .0001. the projectiles could be different bodys (who are your actors of corse) like wearwolf or skeleton who would become your minions. another thing u could do is have actual weapon spells, like raining acid or gass or such im going to make a different mod but this was an idea i thought it would be nice to put out there so ppl could use (P.S. only one can use it) plz comment

For all posts pertaining to "Can I...?": I will not outright reject your mod unless it is clearly not adhering to the rules, such as if you try to submit a submarine to this "undead" theme, I will let the voters decide if your mod fits the criteria. Unless you can come up with a damn good reason why submarines fit into the theme, I would send it back and ask for something more fitting. @alotet: I would prefer you not advertise ideas. Put them up for sale, as Winterous did, but don't blurt them out to just anyone. I'm already a bit shaky on letting Winterous advertise himself as an ideas man, putting them out like this is even further out. To anyone thinking of posting here claiming his idea: You would be disqualified. PM him if you want to take it. This is skirting dangerously close to the rule about advertising your mod before the end of the voting period.
