Old New For comparison purposes This is supposed to be the firey explosion, I'm working on a bluey plasma explosion and maybe an electrical style explosion too.

The old one has some blueish smoke coming out. I think that's better than the new one.

The blue smoke trails are nice, but those black explosions just don't look right.

Ok, thanks for the comments, here's the final version of the explosions for now =D I've got lots of other things to work on so I'm considering these finished.

Just a thought; keep that version, make a copy of it with higher sharpness. That way, we'll have one that tears through land. BTW, This stuff looks like pure pwnage

I just call on this whenever I want a flashy effect to cover up the pixels that do the damage.
