   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadI'm working on an undead soldier actor, and I'm having some trouble getting the right feel for the metallic bits. if i could get some help or suggestions, that'd be nice. I'm going for a partially rusted, once beige-painted metal.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadUse more bigger shapes, single lines like that bunched together doesn't really work for what you want it for.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadWould be cool if the bottom part was just exposed ribcage vs the brown shirt or under-padding or w/e that is under the metal armor part.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadThat is significantly better. To improve your spriting, try starting with basic shapes, like prisms and other shapes with nice, flat surfaces. Once you have a good idea of how to do those, move on to spheres. Then, finally, mix them together to make complex shapes.

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadAsking for feedback on these weapons, the assault rifle, grenade launcher, and sniper rifle for a faction I'm messing around creating. All weapons have mags in, the thing in front of the grenade launcher is the grenade it will be launching... BMP is below

   |   Re: Sprite Help ThreadTried to sprite an image from an art thread on this site. What do you think? I understand its really rough, since it was made very, very quickly... I also didn't realize CC has its own pallet, so I'll have to fix it later along with a whole bunch of other stuff.
