Is it possible to disable buy mode with Lua or something?

The communicator could be the only one that can use buy mode or something like that, then the carrier guy could just be carrying a computer/brain something like that.

Hey, Manticore and 3solid are getting it. I like the idea of energy generators that you have to destroy.
Also I was thinking steam punk would be cool, It'd be an excuse to make actors with tophats.

Eureka!

Instead of just making the carrier a brain unit, the brain is actually attatched to the carrier and when he dies, he drops it. You continue playing, but now the brain isn't mobile and the team has to hang around it instead of being able to retreat.

exactly now we are getting places.
good brain bot idea, but for the one with the large storage area i was thinking more of a healing or construction unit.

possibly the bugs that dig for you could also build bunkers?

also an area where you could change the type of one of the robots would be cool.

Well we've got that default drone off to the left, so he could be the brain carrying unit while the others have to defend him since he has no other abilities.

I'd prefer if the Carrier not be a construction unit though, I think concrete sprayers are a little overpowered. It's far too easy to just spray over the brain and not have to bother looking after it at all.

maybe the carrier could pick up weapons the way a craft does and sell them automatically. or it could "resupply" friendly units with no weapons, with some of the weapons from the faction. or could simply be filled with explosives.

because a faction that only exists because 'hey look we're women' isn't biased and sexist at all. if they only exist because 'look, we're women' then what would they look like. like a steriotype. and worst yet, I miss-read that as femdom corp. that would be some scary ♥♥♥♥.

The thing is, the fact remains that I suck at coding, so it'll probably never get released, just sprited. One of the reasons i made this thread is to see if any coders would be interested so I could con them into being my code monkey. Any takers?
