@3 Solid: I'm pretty sure there is a gif of that a few pages back. It doesn't work very well though... Even in the actually game infinite falling is annoying to set up.

@Miles: You never answered my question. Let me elaborate. Is there one gun for the orange portal, and then another gun for the blue one? Or is one portal a tracer round or something like that?

Portal gun is fake. If you believe it's not you're dumb.

If a video isn't uploaded within about 12 hours or so then it is obviously a fake. Why this time frame you ask?
12 hours is not long enough to fake a gif or animation of this. (unless your really good at it) And it takes about an hour to download the program, set it up, and start recording.

Or you can suck it and use fraps. Also, methinks this is going to be released only to people who didn't ♥♥♥♥♥.

Thread has been locked. The portal thing is a neat concept but not workable in the engine (yet).

There are some moderators who behave very poorly in here. We developers don't have the time to police the forums, so we rely on you volunteer mods from the community to do a good job instead.

The idea of these forums is to have a friendly, constructive and fun environment for anyone interested in the game. If the current moderators can't achieve this - and indeed make it worse by being nasty and childish themselves - you will be not only replaced, but banned as well.

Also, each time I am called to come in here and deal with this stuff, I am spending that much time less working on the actual game. So please remember that before posting something rude or offensive: you will also indirectly hurt development progress of the game itself.

So, instead, just take a break and come back later when you've cooled off and there's something else to discuss (like the new version, due at the end of the month).
