So on a 1x1 sprite, I'm deficient at a factor of one, but by 8x8 I'm deficient by 35, and so on and so forth. Pretend that made sense and I wasn't just shoving in possibly incorrect Fibonacci numbers into the mixture to seem smart.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaActually, it'd probably just be a cylinder-like drop pod they fire from an orbiting ship.

Obligatory your mom joke bold and underlined, etc. But look at the previous text- you got it ass-backward. They're ingenious tinkers, tailors, and candlestick-makers who hack together brilliant devices for tearing through their foes.Tinkers of course are engineers, tailors are surgeons, and candlestick-makers light people on fire.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaFirst of all, lawl, your mum jokes.
Secondly, I agree, it would be shabby and brilliantly engineered.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaThe riggers would just have something put together for getting the job done, most likely have it fitted for a second purpose too: BATTERING RAMS/SPIKES on the sides of the engines or protruding out from the bottom for various unit poking reasons.
It's hard to get a visual in my head though. A drop pod would be a much easier concept.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaTake a look at what the Reapers from Firefly (also Serenity) did with ships, that might be a source of inspiration.

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaI'm voting drop pod with a dirty great spike on the bottom.Kind of like a corkscrew?
 Which rotates!

   |   Re: The Riggers - Army ideaOne more thing- the drop pod must have two versions- one which is designed for use as a vehicle, and one which gibs on impact into several Riggers on team 3. Thus, random attacks from Riggers will come and create three-way battles.
