Re: Aperture Laboratories -We do what we must, because we can!
Quote: Not sure about the flying off into space thing, but this would be possible if I am thinking right by simply making all 4 pieces (orbs) into brains as well, thanks to the support for multiple brains in Cortex. Well since the body is supposed to be swaying a little, is it possible to attach brains onto it? And if we use brains for the cores, it means we won't have that "drop into incinerator" part.

Actually, you probably could. It would be fairly possible to attach the brains, and, if I'm correct, to have them detach without them being destroyed. It should then be fairly easily possible to have them pretty much invincible except for a Lua furnace nearby which destroys it or just a hole that goes to the bottom of the map.

Isn't it just the pinstrength and gibimpulselimit that kills the brains?

Pretty much. But I was thinking that you could probably make a brain attachment which could then be shot off.

I would love to know the advantage of making the personality cores as brains vs. normal attachables that can be shot off in proper order with Lua.

LFoW I hope that you'd actually be working on this and not ditch it for a different mod that seems more exciting in mind.

Honestly I'm just in a CC Lull because of Starcraft II. I've been heavily enjoying it.
I'll return to this for sure, when the time comes/permits. I didn't put all that work into GLaDOS for nothing.

i think you should just replace this part the area where the eye sits with a brain so it looks a little more CC?

There's no eye on GLaDOS? Besides, how would it be GLaDOS if it wasn't all mechanical?

In the seconed one she has an Eye but I don't think she had one in the first... I think she just watched you through those Surveliance cameras. But since everything has been destroyed and groped in vines and vegitation then she would need an eye.
