Re: Build 18 to 19 Conversion program
How about we stop responding to everything as a personal attack, and also stop attacking people on tiny little bits in their posts that seem to imply a defensive/aggressive/whatever else sort of stance.

Re: Build 18 to 19 Conversion program
I had made this EXACT same thing in about 5 minutes, but the program I was using was a demo and would only convert one .ini file at a time.

Re: Build 18 to 19 Conversion program
GRIF, I hadn't learned that the DEMO version didn't allow multiple files to be changed until after I had set up the rules. I never bothered looking for another program.

t0rento have you given up on this? Or are you working on adding the handgroup and standpath? I haven't given up on this but my timezone is different so I had to sleep. Right now i'm trying to think up a method that will work out dynamically what the handgroup and standpath should be and then assign it correctly, my coding ability's are alright but not masterful or even skillful so anyone with any ideas on how I can do this I would love to hear them. Edit: Since I don't know too much about cortex command modding is there anything specific to the handgroup or standpath that won't be found anywhere else in a mod? Edit2: My first idea is to have the program load actors.ini (During editing entire mods are actually loaded into the text box you see in the program) and then find the line "Hand = AtomGroup" then read the line directly after this which should be CopyOf = HandNameHere at which point I can remove the CopyOf = and put HandNameHere into a variable I can then do IdleLimbPath = HandNameHere Edit3: And then I realized I had been reading the second part of the conversion wiki wrong, actor functionality should be along shortly. Edit4: Updated to support actors

Re: Build 18 to 19 Conversion program UPDATE: 25/12/07
Could someone tell me how feasible conversions from lower builds are. I started playing CC at Build 17 but I've seen some interesting mods in the Old Mods section and was wondering what steps are necessary to convert them.
Could anyone enlighten me?

Re: Build 18 to 19 Conversion program UPDATE: 01/01/08
Updated again, moved the conversion process to a separate thread.
This seems to have increased the speed at which conversions are performed and has allowed for a better real time display of the conversion process.
Multi-Folder conversions are now working
Still looking for more information on Build 13 to 19 conversions, if anyone can help with that, please do.

Re: Build 18 to 20 Conversion program UPDATE: 01/01/08
The program doesn't open for me. it just makes some crazy error message pop up. Darklink needs his kelas.

Do you have the .net 2.0 framework installed?

Re: Build 18 to 20 Conversion program UPDATE: 01/01/08
Mine opens, but it just freezes up at "Beginning Conversion." As in, it's still running properly but it won't go any further. EDIT: Fixed it by reloading the conversion file. Hurr. EDIT2: AddInventoryDevice|AddInventory Helping out with something. Woot. Also the game is CaSe SeNsItIvE, so you may want to fix that typo on Civilian Stuff.
